Another special feature of the NiSi Athena Prime Cinema lenses is the integration of drop-in filters in the E-, RF and L-mount versions (PL-mount is equipped with a rear filter holder). This innovative filter solution allows filmmakers to insert ND or Vario-ND filters directly into the lens without having to change the front lens. This speeds up filter changes and at the same time reduces the risk of dust and dirt on the optics.
